Like any other Spanish town, Javea has dates each year that are reserved for fiestas and celebrations. If you can plan your trip around these celebrations you will be treated to some spectacular firework displays and street processions. These dates are as follows:
5th January: Procession of the Three Kings
27th April - 3rd May: Jesús el Nazareno
June: International Festival
10th - 24th June: Fogueres de San Juan (principal fiestas of Jávea)
2nd half of July: Moros y Cristianos (Moors and Christians)
1st - 8th September: Nuestra Señora de Loreto
13th December: Procession to the Ermita
